Dr. Arash Emami
Dr. Arash Emami is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon. He has been named in Top Doctors: New York Metro Area (New Jersey, New York, Connecticut) four years in a row, and is included in America’s Top Spine Surgeons by Consumers’ Research Council of America.
Some of Dr. Emami’s clinical interests include:

- Complex cervical spinal reconstructions
- Cervical and lumbar disc replacement surgery
In addition, Dr. Emami is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York University’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. He also serves as director of spinal surgery at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey.
Dr. Emami graduated with honors from the Pritzker School of Medicine, at the University of Chicago where he completed his orthopaedic training. He completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at the University of California at San Francisco.
He is an active member of many prestigious medical societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and Scoliosis Research Society. Dr. Emami has published his research in medical journals, contributed to book chapters, and lectured at major universities and institutions.
Dr. Emami has been interviewed by national and local television news programs, including NBC and Fox News. In addition, Dr. Emami is a consulting team physician for the New York Rangers.
